LESSON 1: TEMPO

You have probably heard the word tempo.
How do we practice Tempo.
Tempo is auditory which means we hear it.
An example is dancing to a specific song. We don’t see the beat of the music we hear it. Then we move our body to the beat that we hear “dancing”. Just like we don’t all dance the same We don
’t all have the same swing. Some people’s swing is fast, some medium and some slow.

Think Golf allows you to practice your tempo. Doing so will lower scores and make you a more consistent player.

SO what is tempo and why is it so important in golf? Tempo definition: “the rate or speed of motion”

In a golf swing tempo is measured from the time you start your backswing until you impact the ball. Having a consistent tempo will help you hit the ball more solidly. Think Golf tempo audios are designed to help you identify and perfect your unique tempo. It’s simple choose one from the TEMPO audios and play it while you hit golf balls. The more you do this the better you will become. One of the biggest benefits will be speed thru impact. Speed thru impact will make you hit it solid thus improving your shots. It’s important to remember you hear tempo. Understanding this allows you to ignore the ball and just swing thru. After all we don’t want to hit the ball, we want to swing thru it. Basically, the ball should just get in the way of an in-tempo swing. Baaaack! Whack!
